Cut to the chase: A wine that is perfectly suited to a typical English roast especially lamb. Enjoy this also with any other lamb based meals. In the warm summer this can be very lightly chilled.

Wine expert speak: This unique Pinot Noir has a beautiful ruby red colour, with bright cherry and bramble on the nose. On the palate there is a soft structure with a cleansing structure.

Origin: Wiltshire

Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir

Description

Named after Captain Henry Penruddocke who lost his life at a’Beckett’s in 1644 at the height of the English Civil War.

Made from the amazing 2018 harvest,  expected to be a benchmark vintage for English wine.

Produced by Paul and Lynn Langham on the Langham Family Vineyard in Wiltshire in the sheltered valley in the lee of Salisbury Plain.

Aged for 5 months in 1/3 filled French oak barrels giving it a distinctive flavour.
